Why Setting Goals is Important to Get a Flat Stomach and Six Pack Abs?
We need to have a plan of action in place to get that
sexy flat tummy and six pack abs. Your flat stomach is
not going to fall out of the sky or by magic.
Discipline, sacrifice, hard work, dedication and
planning is the key. Rome was not built in one day.
What is goal setting?
* Helps you plan, what you want to do with your life.
* Involve setting a clear objective to be achieved.
* Writing down goals, and then decide what are the steps
to take to help you get there.
Why do we need to set goals?
Setting goals is an important step to turning dreams,
desires and ideas into reality! We often hear people
talk about setting new years resolutions. Every year I
set myself personal goals and then I work towards it.
Personally I find life very boring without goals. It is
always good to live life to the fullest and to pursue
purpose. One of the nice things of goal setting is that
it will become a challenge for you to successfully
complete your objectives.
If you want to build a house you must have a blueprint
or building plan to build it. Without a proper plan,
your house can become unstable or unsafe.
Imagine traveling to some foreign place. You get in you
vehicle and just drive. The problem is you don’t have
any idea of where you are going to. You need direction
otherwise you could get lost or drive in circles. The
worst case scenario is to get stuck without fuel. To
solve the problem, we need to have a map to guide us to
our destination.
To lose weight, get a sexy flat stomach or 6 pack abs we
need to have a plan in place. Otherwise we will be like
horses with blinkers on our eyes, who do not know where
we are going. We want to see where we are going.
Steps to setting realistic goals:
It is vitally imperative to set goals in each area of
our life. If done correctly, it will ensure a more
balanced and fulfilled life. You can set goals in your
family, career, spiritual, health, fitness etc.
The steps to set a goal(s) are:
1. Make sure your goal is something that you really
want.
2. Desire it.
3. The goal should be realistic.
4. See it. Get a visual picture.
5. Write your goal down in detail.
6. Break it down in short term to long term segments.
Time frames.
7. Speak it. Remind yourself constantly.
8. Don’t listen to negativity. Stay positive.
9. Stay focused on your goal.
10. Don’t give up.
Now that you've completed your list of goals... you can
put your goals in a picture frame and hang it on your
wall, refrigerator, computer screensaver, office etc.
